Program Director must meet at least one of the following to qualify as Program Director: a.) Bachelor’s degree or higher in Early Childhood Education or Child Development b.) Bachelor’s degree or higher in child related field with 18 semester hours in Early Childhood Education or Child Development and 480 hours of experience. (a child-related field is either Elementary Education, Child Guidance/Counseling, Child Psychology, Family Studies or Social Work) c.) Associate’s Degree in Early Childhood Education or Child Development with 18 semester hours in Early Childhood Education or Child Development and 480 hours of experience d.) Montessori credential with 18 semester hours in Early Childhood Education or Child Development and 960 Hours of Experience. (A Montessori credential is a credential issued by the Association Montessori International (AMI), American Montessori Society (AMS), or any Montessori teaching training institution recognized by the Montessori Accreditation Council for Teacher Education (MACTE) that meets or exceeds 270 hours of academic training.)

Prevention Services Position: Combination of education and experience represented by: At least 2 years of experience working in the Mental Health and Substance Abuse related field. • Certified Prevention Professional, preferred or obtain MCBAP development plan. • High Proficiency required in Excel and other related computer programs.

Prevention Services Supervisor:

Combination of education and experience represented by: At least 2 years of experience working in the Mental Health and Substance Abuse related field. • Experience in Human Services Mental Health, community organization, program development and/or management, required. • Certified Prevention Professional, preferred or obtain MCBAP development plan • Administrative & supervisory experience working with staff and volunteers. • High Proficiency required in Excel and other related computer programs.
